Overview
This scenario was created in order to give young autistic individuals the opportunity to practice and develop their communication and cooperation skills. In this part, different scenarios of cases and issues that may arise while working in a team will be presented. Users will be able to navigate through the scenarios through the interactive decision-making features, enabling them to test their knowledge and skills in a safe, well-structured environment. Participants will play the role of an employee that has to cooperate with their colleagues in a project. The realistic scenarios will help participants to enhance their skills in cooperation with colleagues, communication, decision-making, critical thinking and problem solving.
Introduction
Collaborating with other people in a group project can maximise your work’s results and impact, however there are many challenges that may arise, regarding the members’ cooperation, potential conflicts and task allocation. In this scenario, you will come across different situations you may find yourself into when working in a team. Each decision is accompanied by feedback, which will give you useful tips and tools to develop your skills in this activity.
Instructions:
- You will face 6 different situations where you will need to make decisions concerning your collaboration with other members of the team.
- After each decision, you will receive feedback according to your choice.
- There are no wrong answers. Each choice helps you learn and grow, building skills at your own pace.
