Overview
This scenario is focused on assisting young autistic individuals with building their motivation, searching their real interests and discovering methods with which they can turn their passions into job careers. This will be done through an interactive decision-based format, where users will be able to test their knowledge and skills in a well-structured, safe, and tailored to each individual’s needs environment. This scenario is created specifically to guide young autistic individuals through the particularities of exploring themselves and their interests, a process that is necessary and useful before starting the efforts to enter the labour market. The realistic scenarios provided in this part will give users the opportunity to test different methodologies and strategies that can be proven beneficial for their ventures, enhancing their skills in self-assessment, expressing and working on their thinking and decision-making processes and realising a work plan.
Introduction
Finding your interests constitutes the first activity before applying for a job, while matching these passions with a specific career can be proven difficult. In this scenario, you will come across different situations in which you have to organize your working method to approach this process of finding motivation, discovering interests and looking for relevant job opportunities. Each decision is accompanied by feedback, which will give you useful tips and tools to develop your skills in this activity.
